Delhi State Consumers Co-operative Federation Ltd (Confed or Federation) was registered with the Registrar of Co-operative Societies Delhi, in July 2003 as an apex body of consumer co-operatives in Delhi. Primary Co-operative Societies located in different parts of Delhi are our members. The Federation is an authorised agency of Govt. of Delhi for supply of goods to the Govt. departments and organisations.
The Federation is engaged in procurement and supply of various office use articles including computer stationery, general stationery items, cleaning materials, furniture & fixtures, textiles, food and grocery items etc. to various departments and other organizations under the Govt. of Delhi, as also Central Govt. Departments/ Organisations at competitive rates, for which it has made arrangements with distributors/ dealers and suppliers of the related goods.
The Federation assists and guides It’s member societies on compliance to the provisions in ACT, Rule & Bye-laws as also in the management related activities.
The Federation is a member society of NCCF (Since 2010), NAFED, NCUI also the Delhi State Cooperative Bank and Delhi State Cooperative Union. The Secretary of the Federation is a co-opted member on the Board of NCCF.
The affairs of the Federation are managed through an elected Managing Committee (3 year tenure) as per provisions in the Delhi Cooperative Societies Act & Rules.

The Federation’s accounts are audited by independent Chartered Accountants and audit of accounts for the year 2023-24 has already by completed and accounts have been submitted to the office of RCS, Delhi.
The Federation, after usual time on preparation, planning and organisational arrangements, stared commercial operations in full swing with effect from 2006-2007. Its working results from 2006-07 to 2015-16 are as follows.

However, thereafter because of various reasons particularly change in Government procurement procedures, blockage of funds with the Government Departments and Organisations (which failed to make payments against supply of goods made to them) and onset of Covid-19 pandemic resulted in closure of office & resultant suspension of commercial operations, which dislocated the commercial/operational arrangements. Constant efforts and of course assistance of NCCF helped us to step up the business operations, as could be seen from the following:
